| Comments | Hi - My wife and I recently purchased a cottage with a poured concrete foundation. It was built in 1993 so I believe the external foundation walls are not insulated or have vapor barrier. I don't know what's on the inside of the basement yet, its a walkout basement, but it is finished and I plan to gut it all out first. Looks like there is no internal insulation either. I'd like your opinion and estimate for a spray foam insulation which would also act at a vapor on the inside of the walls. The footer boards are also batt insulated, so I'd like to take the time to insulate that as well. Total square foot include both. |
