Are you getting matched sets, or are you getting 551lbs of iso and only 500lbs of resin? What were you getting before? Not all resins are the same, maybe the new resin has a higher specific gravity and weighs more per gallon, so less gallons in the drum.
Start with a new set and look inside, are the levels of material inside the drums the same, or do you have more iso than resin to start with?

I know that one supplier only ships 480 pounds of resin and 551 pounds of iso, because before iso was packaged in 551's it was packed 500 pounds per drum and the 480 pounds of resin made the sets come out more even.

Then when due to the metric system the 551 pound iso became the indrustry standard they kept packing the resin 480pounds per drum.
