Starting foam business by offering daily rig rental?
I haven't ever sprayed foam before, but I like the product and want to start SPF Contracting business. Business would be based in San Diego, CA. I have a mechanical background, and have sprayed enough paint that I think I can get the operation/maintenance part no problem. I realize that I will have to take classes and do a whole lot of learning otherwise. I was thinking that starting the business by buying a rig and offering to rent it out to homeowners and contractors might be a way to keep overhead down when I am just starting out. It could be a one man show, and there might be less bond/insurance costs as a equipment supplier instead of contractor? Does this sound like a decent strategy? |
