Scaffolding and Ladders
What are you guys using or keeping on hand for ladders and scaffolding? The first job I looked at was a remodeled attic about 2.5 stories high from the floor to the ridge.

Do you rent or not?
Any particular brands better than others?
Anybody use safety straps?

Thank-you!

We just bring what we need to the job site. We rarely use scaffolding it just seems to get in the way, but when we need it we bring it. We always bring a 6',8',10',and a 12' step ladder and those handy 18" high aluminum platforms.

From a 12'ladder you can spay areas 20' high.

Foam it!

I keep 2 sets of staging with all the planks, wheels etc in the trailer all the time. (1) 6 foot stepladder, (1) 26' gorilla ladder which makes a pretty tall stepladder, (1) 13' gorilla and a couple milk crates. Seems to work for me. I like the staging, takes a little time to set up, but with a helper it is easy to move around the room without having to get down.
