Roofing Detail on R-Panel Roof
When spraying roofing foam on an R Panel Roof, we typically spray to about 6" from the edge and then coat the remainder, which if I am not mistaken is an SPFA Detail.

The one time that we sprayed to the edge of an R-Panel Roof, it took us forever to paint the edge since the foam sort of rolls over and down and you can see exposed foam from the ground looking up under the edge of the metal.

We are starting a 3" foam roof at a prison next week and the architect is dead set on us spraying to the edge and tapering from 0-3" over a 3" area.

Any suggestions on how to spray to the edge of an R Panel Roof which is almost impossible to put tape on and paper like a typical edge flashing without having the foam roll over the edge of the r panel so it is not such a pain in the butt to coat.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
