Overspray - The Facts
Mason, with all due respect, your several posts on this subject are outdated and troublesome for spray foam contractors who spray outside, e.g. roofers.

Spray foam absolutely does not damage paint. Clay bar and/or Nanoskin sponges and Nanoskin lubricant takes it right off, every time.

The problem is, when we overspray a car and the "victim" insists on a new $14,000 paint job, they search the internet and find your comments on this forum and present them as evidence as to why they get new paint. It creates problems that don't exist and encourages needless legal action.

We do fairly him volume spray foam roofing in the highest average windspeed city in the US, and have sprayed around 20 cars. Without exception $150 worth of clay bar treatment at a body shop or detailers has them looking like new. And no, it doesn't harm the clear coat, either.
