Flushing hoses
We have a heated hose for a portable refill type system that we will be using for the first time soon. I have no idea when the next time we will need to use this system again, so I would like to flush the lines. I read a few older posts about flushing hoses. Mason suggested running diesel fluid through it, then using TCP or DOP on the A-side. Where is the best place to buy TCP or DOP? Should I leave the hoses full with the chemical during storage, or blow them out with air before capping them off.

Diesel fuel is a cheap flushing solvent but it can contain water that will react with the ISO and could cause problems. Acetone is a better choice. Then you can fill the hose with DOP (pump lub) and leave it in the system until the next time you use it

I sell 5 gallon buckets of DOP, nearest location to you is Missouri though - look for Dioctyl Phlathalate (not sure on spelling).
