Conditioned attic
We built our home in the summer of 2015. I am a plumbing and HVAC contractor, primarily commercial and industrial. We have very little experience with spray foamed houses. Wife and I went with a smallish (1100 sq ft) house on a slab with spray foam. Sealed attic. Dual fuel system in attic. My question is do I need to cut an 8" collar into the duct and "dump" conditioned air directly into the attic?I feel our power bill is high. I am trying to create more efficiency, which is why we went foam to begin with. We live in south central NC. |
