20/35 pro off ratio.
I have a 20/35 pro that is setup for 3500psi. It recently blew out a supply hose between the barrel pump and the proportioner. I replaced the hose and sprayed for a few minutes and it blew out again. The A side gauge is around 25% lower than the b side no matter where I set the pressure and I noticed that the supply hose jumps when the proportioner switches directions. I am guessing that it is backfeeding past the check balls. The y screen is clean I took out the check balls and checked them and the seats and they look like new. Is it possible that the check ball spring is weak? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any ideas? I know one of you equipment experts has to have some idea. Thanks.

Sounds like a back pressure or air issue..
Remove the wye strainer from the A side and see if your transfer pump will pump material through it.
Remove gun from hose and verify you have a steady steam of material coming out.
If good, check ball and seat, it may look good to the naked eye but, remove it and clean well, set the ball in the seat with seat on top, put some TSL in the seat, does it seep pass the ball?
Another way is to use a flashlight instead of liquid.
If good, replace spring.
