PASADENA, CA – February 26, 2020 – The ever-expanding yearly convention was again a great success. The Pasadena Convention Center in CA was full to the brim with everything spray foam and highlighted the latest in industry equipment, technology, product development, industry challenges and opportunities. It was a show of building science and a melting pot of a who’s who in the spray foam business with connections being made and contractors, manufacturers and suppliers discussing industry growth.

There were so many highlights it was a challenge to capture everything but here are just a few that stood out:

EQUIPMENT

Carlisle announced they will now be selling equipment and even gave attendees a sneak peek of their up and coming new gun. Polyurethane Machinery Corporation (PMC) had a fabulous giveaway of a pink gun.

Plus, Spray Foam Systems introduced the Nitrosys HVLP System which they developed after noticing an industry necessity for safer ways to process SPF. It is a high volume, low-pressure spray foam proportioner designed to process and spray all of the existing high pressure and low-pressure spray foam systems available on the market today.

THE PARTIES KEEP ON GETTING BETTER EVERY YEAR

Graco’s kickoff party at The Rose bar got everyone in the mood. The party pulled in a record number of people who danced up a shoulder rolling storm to a bopping 80s cover band. There was even a gun assembly contest and lots more to keep the party goers entertained.

Victory Polymers Electric Party, which included belly dancers, proved a massive success and Carlisle’s password protected party at the Speakeasy added an air of mystery to this fabulous event topping things off with UPC/General Coatings’ event at the Rose Bowl Stadium. For those wishing to party in the fresh air, the SPFA street festival had lots to offer including a dunk tank—sponsored by International Fireproof Technologies, Inc. (IFTI), fun stations of axe throwing, corn hole and a putting contest all to win tickets to enter for fabulous prizes.

LOTS OF GIVEAWAYS

There was a long list of incredible giveaways some of which included cool shirts from SprayFoam.com, SWD and General Coatings, ISO testers and of course the biggest of them all…the most anticipated of the show…the SFWW rig.

Between the parties, the golf tournament, trips to NASA and Warner Bros, this was truly a show to remember.

Another successful year and in the opinion of the Spray Foam Magazine team–the best SHOW to date.
