Spray Foam Magazine – Winter 2021 – There are many amazing spray foam business owners and Spray Foam Magazine wants to celebrate them as the pillar of our industry. Here are just a few of those amazing individuals in the spray foam trade.

RUSTY SCHRADER – OWNER of Allstate Spray Foam Insulation, California

How long have you been in the spray foam industry? 25 years

Most notable project(s): Commercial buildings like marijuana grow facilities, Toyota plant in Texas, and a historical radar tower.

Three words to describe your company: Honest, loyal, dependable

How do you give back to the industry? I give back to this industry by sharing my experiences and knowledge anytime I can.

Type of equipment or foam that matches your personality and why? Graco equipment, because it never stops working and SWD foam, because they never stop helping.

PAULINE MEDFORD – CO-OWNER of Carolina Foam Pros, LLC

How long have you been in the spray foam industry? I have owned Carolina Foam Pros, LLC for under a year, but I have been in the residential construction and insulation industry for nearly 25 years.

What do you specialize in? Since we are in a coastal and somewhat rural area, we must be open to working on all sorts of projects. One month we will do six metal buildings, one new construction home and a house or building on a historical registry; the next month we will lift a few sidewalks, spray a few horse barns, throw in some silos or biodiesel tanks, lots of attics and crawl spaces. I suppose the short answer to that question is that we specialize in what our clients are looking for with their individual projects, big or small.

Most notable project(s): It sounds cliché, but we genuinely value every single job that we do, be it a metal building for some lawn mowers to be kept in, or the barracks and office buildings at a United States Coast Guard Station.

Three words to describe your company: Transparent, inclusive, and progressive.

Pauline Medford

Type of equipment or foam that matches your personality and why? I would have to pick closed-cell foam because like me, closed-cell foam is/does: 1. Super-efficient, 2. More expensive than the other foams, 3. Adds structural strength in our coastal region (the storm cannot beat me), 4. And by far, the best overall product!

JON GOODHARD – Just Like New Overspray Removal Inc.

How long have you been in the spray foam industry? We have been the leading overspray removal, and catastrophe services company for over 30 years.

What do you specialize in? We specialize in overspray removal of all types of vehicles, motorcycles, boats, planes, heavy equipment, homes, buildings, and RV’s, just to name a few.

Most notable project(s): A 10-story glass commercial building with spray foam overspray on the entire inside and out. We successfully cleaned the entire building.

Three words to describe your company:

Smart Affordable Solutions

SF: How do you give back to the industry? We are always trying to help spray foam contractors resolve their overspray issues, by giving them advice.
