 National Roofing Contractors Association Releases 2016 Manual and Boxed Set

ROSEMONT, IL – February 4, 2016 – To provide the roofing industry with the most extensive information about the design, materials and installation techniques applicable to metal panel and spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roof systems, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has released The NRCA Roofing Manual: Metal Panel and SPF Roof Systems—2016. The new volume updates the 2012 volume under the same title and serves as a reference for contractors, architects and roof consultants.

Comprised of two sections, the 2016 volume can be referenced in low- and steep-slope roof system applications.

The Metal Panel Roof Systems section includes guidelines applicable to metal and metal panel roof systems, substrates, architectural metal panel systems, structural metal panel roof systems and 83 construction details.

The SPF Roof Systems section includes information about materials, design considerations, application and design guidelines, as well as 71 construction details.
