SPRING, TEXAS–August 16, 2012–You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Bayer MaterialScience LLC is offering a new benefit to its accredited spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation contractors that will not only help improve contractors’ project estimating and bidding, but also help them look more professional with customers from the start. Bayer is working with JobPro™ Technology to provide its web-based estimating and bidding program to qualified contractors.
JobPro™ is an online sales and management tool specifically for the SPF insulation industry. JobPro™ software helps SPF contractors track leads, develop bids, generate customer proposals, and assess job profitability and material usage data. Because it is web-based, contractors can generate and send proposals with a computer or smartphone. Contractors can customize proposals with additional information such as Bayer-branded SPF insulation information sheets and regionally-specific energy efficiency requirements. Customers can approve proposals immediately with an electronic signature, or print and sign the proposal.
Bayer will subsidize the cost of a JobPro™ subscription for its accredited SPF insulation contractors. Bayer believes it is a good resource to further the use of SPF insulation.
“JobPro™ is appealing for Bayer contractors on a number of levels,” said Bob Creighton, manager of warranty and contractor accreditation programs for Bayer MaterialScience LLC Spray Insulation and Roofing Materials. “Contractors can now do a better job educating customers about SPF and our contractors will be able to work more efficiently because of the availability to track material usage. This tool is another resource to position SPF as the insulation material of choice.”
JobPro™ Technology estimates their program saves contractors 50 percent of the time it would normally take to generate an estimate and send a customer proposal. JobPro™ allows contractors to enter project measurements directly into the system at the job site; the program auto-calculates customer cost and job profitability using the contractor’s pricing details. Once the job is complete, the contractor can compare estimated and actual profitability based on the amount of SPF insulation installed.
“JobPro™ has made a direct positive impact on our business. We struggled to have a central communication vehicle where all jobs were visible in all stages - from the initial sales inquiry to scheduling to job cost and collections,” Virginia Cameron, president of A.C. & R. Insulation Co. in Elkridge, Maryland said. “Now it’s easy to see the entire process online. In addition, it has become the central vehicle we use to determine trends and quickly change course as necessary. I finally feel like we are applying cutting edge technology to make business decisions and service our customers.”
Bayer is pleased to offer the discounted JobPro™ tool as part of its continuing commitment to its contracting base. The JobPro™ discount is only available to accredited Bayer contractors. More information about the accreditation program is available at the link provided below.
