Spray Foam Contractor Donates Materials, Labor to Local Home Foam Dogs, LLC works with an Ohio community group to renovate local home
BEAVERCREEK, OHIO - January 17, 2011 -- Foam Dogs, LLC is a Beavercreek, Ohio spray foam contractor. Recently, an Ohio community group began renovating the home of a local mother, who has her hands full raising three children with autism.
However, the home needed a significant amount of work - essentially, it had to be gutted and rebuilt. The thin, aging walls didn't have room to contain standard insulation and still meet building codes, so a more efficient solution had to be found.
For a tight, enclosed space like this one, spray foam insulation is the perfect solution. Quentin Durrstein, the owner of Foam Dogs, generously donated both time and materials to fill the walls of the woman's home with Henry Permax 1.8 closed-cell foam insulation. Given the tight time frame - and the cold weather - they completed the entire cleaning and spraying process in a single day.
Now, the Atkins Family has a snug, warm home with great insulation to keep them warm on snowy days like today. Below is a video of Quentin explaining his work and the benefits of spray foam insulation:
In these bitterly cold winter months, every family deserves to have a snug, well-insulated home to shelter them from the blizzard conditions.
