American WeatherStar Takes a Partnership Approach with Contractors
The company’s new spray foam division features co-op marketing programs
MOBILE, AL (6/8/10) - American WeatherStar (AWS) is a supplier of roof coatings, wall coatings, spray foam roofing and single-ply roofing systems, with a primary focus on commercial and industrial roofing systems. Based in Mobile, AL, the company is “a full line supplier of high quality, energy efficient, watertight roof coating systems” that has become well known among contractors for offering flat roof solutions ideal for a number of applications including preventative maintenance and leak repair as well as complete roof replacement and new construction.
The company takes pride in the fact that their roofing systems are characterized as “cool roofs.” A cool roof is an energy efficient reflective white roof that helps “lower your building temperature, reduce energy costs, and seal your roof or walls.” As a supplier of cool roofing systems, AWS is familiar with energy efficient roofing options and has had extensive experience working with spray foam. This made the creation of their spray foam division in 2009 an easy decision and a natural progression.
“The AWS spray foam division broadens our efforts to promote energy efficient roofing while adding wall foam insulation for interior insulation and weatherproofing applications. Spray polyurethane foam offers the building owner the most energy efficient form of insulation for walls and roofing applications, ensuring a more efficient building envelope. Our SPF division complements everything we are doing at American WeatherStar to bring our customers the most energy efficient roofing and insulation materials available on the market.”
Their spray foam division “offers a complete line of spray polyurethane foam that is designed to perform in both roofing and wall applications. When used in roofing applications, our SPF is then top-coated with one of our durable roof coatings to make a reflective white roofing system with a great insulation R-value. AWS SPF makes a solid base for weather resistant roofing, but it can also be used to insulate and protect walls and other industrial surfaces. American WeatherStar has always believed in offering our customers the most waterproof and energy efficient roofing, and our spray foam insulation products exemplify this goal. Our spray foam division takes our roof and wall coatings products line to a whole new level of insulation performance and energy savings.”
“Our quality customer support, coupled with our state-of-the-art technical assistance, ensure complete end user satisfaction with every WeatherStar roofing system installed, thus making the difference between getting a roof or wall system you can live with and getting a system you’re absolutely happy with for many years to come.”
In addition to the company’s quality products and dedicated service, WeatherStar’s most notable attribute is probably the true partnership approach they take to doing business with their contractors, or “Authorized Independent Dealers.” Brian O'Donnell, President of American WeatherStar, points out that their “primary focus as a foam and coatings supplier is to offer our contractor/dealer base a wide range of quality products that meet their needs plus aggressive co-op marketing programs that help them become successful. We create campaigns customized to our individual dealers’ markets and budgets in order to help them present their services along with our products and systems. The main difference between American WeatherStar and other roofing and SPF suppliers is our commitment to helping our contractors, or Authorized Independent Dealers, before, during, and after each installation.”
In fact, the company recently set up an online forum for their contractors/dealers to communicate with each other. “It’s designed to be a place for our partners to discuss the issues that affect their business such as equipment, training, marketing and advertising.” The forum can be found at www.weatherstardealers.com/forum/index.html.
Another recent move by the company to better serve their contractors/dealers was an agreement made with SprayWorks Equipment. This arrangement provides AWS dealers with access to complete spray foam & coatings rigs plus parts, service and training through Spray Works Equipment. O’Donnell explains, “Our goal is to continue to find ways to serve our base of dealers in ways that improve their business. We feel this relationship will do just that.”
American WeatherStar will be displaying at the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association’s upcoming Annual Convention & Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Expo from June 16-18 at the Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, FL. If you’re in the area, “AWS is always looking to meet potential new dealers.”
