Mid-America Coating Systems Selects Gama Spray Foam Equipment

October 31, 2008 - Massillon, Ohio is home to Dennis Davidson, (owner), of Mid-America Coating Systems that has a long history of working with Industries, Schools and Hospitals. Spray on polyurethane foam roofing play’s a large role annually with our success said Davidson and not just any equipment will work for us. “We insist upon reliability, consistency and over-all performance and we cannot afford to be down or working on equipment when products need to be installed.” Recently, it became apparent that it was time to invest into new spray foam equipment so Dennis contacted the SprayWorks Equipment Group, also based in Ohio.
We discussed all aspects of the Gama line of equipment as well as the (Master) air purge spray gun, parts and accessories to find the right equipment for our specific needs said Davidson. The Gama G-250 with a range of up to 38 lbs output per minute and the air purge Master gun were a perfect fit. The equipment is sturdy built, compact in design and amazingly simple to operate. “It reminds me of the equipment that I grew up with, but only better. We also took a look at other machines, but quickly decided on the Gama unit after evaluation,” Davidson stated.
The very first project that Mid-America Coating Systems used the new Gama equipment on was a 110,000 square foot sloped metal building. The installation thicknesses of 1.5 to 7 inches thick depended on the designed insulation requirements for each section. During the 17 days of spray foam installation the equipment performed extremely well and the foam contractor reported no issues with either the G-250 Hydraulic unit or the air purge Master guns. Davidson further comments, “I would say that we are delighted with the performance of Gama Machinery as well as the technical and support expertise of SprayWorks Equipment Group.”
