Insulating walls, attics and crawlspace
About the Technology
Spray foam insulation provides superior performance.
This system is applied as a polyurethane liquid-- made up of millions of microscopic cells—which expands into a semi-rigid mass. This technology simultaneously adheres, insulates and air-seals off drafty areas such as: baseboards, headers, sill plates, around windows, doors, electrical outlets, pipes, etc.
It also minimizes uncontrolled air leakage throughout the building (walls, attics, ceilings, crawlspace) thereby reducing loss of energy to the environment.
With reduction of air leakage, energy loss is minimized. According to the US Department of Energy, heating and cooling costs can be reduced by as much as 50%.
Reduces HVAC Tonnage
With the combination of reducing air infiltration and loads (sensible and latent) heating and air conditioning "tonnage" can be reduced by 40%.
Sealing cracks, joints, etc. leads to prevention of uncontrolled movement of air through wall assemblies. Spray foam insulation has been rated to withstand gust wind conditions up to 160 miles per hour. Laboratory testing confirms this technology meets the intent of all the latest North American Building Codes in the U.S. and Canada, including the ICC, IRC, and IBC.
Soundproofing - Sound Barrier
The open cells and the semi-rigid polyurethane mass absorbs and reduces the transmission of sound.
A blasting stereo, a roaring plane, your neighbor’s conversation. Can you hear it? Not with open-cell spray foam Insulation.Blocking out bad noise and locking in good sound is just one reason why open-cell spray foam insulation is a smart, effective way to insulate residential and commercial buildings.
Mold and mildew free
Spray foam prevents moisture infiltration and offers no food value for bacterial and fungal growth.
Spray Foam R-Value does not diminish over time. The actual R-value of most commonly used insulation is as low as 50% of its “lab rated” R-Value. Spray foam insulation retains 100% of its R-Value for the life of your home and business.
Spray foam insulation is non-toxic and environmentally friendly
Does NOT contain ozone depleting chemicals, formaldehyde or asbestos
Toxic substances are NOT emitted based on current off-gassing tests
100% fiberglass-free. The National Toxicology Program has listed fiberglass as a carcinogen (causing cancer) since 1994.
Spray foam insulation improves indoor air quality by reducing allergens, pollen and external dust from entering the building.
Flat, Mid-slope and Low-slope Roofs
About the Technology
Spray foam roof insulation is applied as a polyurethane liquid which expands into a rigid, closed-cell mass. This system offers the highest thermal performance comparisons and is superb for vapor barrier elimination. This system is best to use in a non-vented roof system design.
Lightweight insulation, No Fasteners
This system easily adheres and tapered to eliminate ponding water.
Application to Existing Roofs
This system is easier to maintain and repair than other systems. While built-up roofs and single-plies must be removed after their lifespan, repairing and re-coating cool roof spray foam does NOT require you to tear off of the pre-existing roof.
Spray foam roof insulation is UL and FM fire and wind rated in Southern CA and complies with title 24.
For homes/businesses – spray foam roof insulation reduces energy costs as great as 30%. The material’s insulating properties are further enhanced by the system’s elastomeric (special coating material) which effectively reflects the sun’s rays.
The primary function of any roof is to keep moisture out of the building. Our technology provides a double layer to protect against moisture and leaks.
A seamless system
Has no seams or laps where leaks often develop.
Spray foam roof insulation prevents air and moisture infiltration
Cool roof foam insulation is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
